This class will introduce writing to students by analyzing fun movies and addressing
cross-curricular topics. Our little movie critics will watch a movie in our movie
theater-themed classroom along with a concession stand followed by discussions
and writing prompts about the films. We will be analyzing the characters, setting,
morals, and plot of four movies connecting them to subjects such as faith,
citizenship, and social-emotional learning. We will analyze the storylines of The
Lorax, Home, Inside Out, and Soul. These are children's' movies that are rated PG
therefore by signing up for this class you give your child permission to watch
these movies.
