FOUNDATIONS OF ART
In this class for upper grades, students will learn the basics of drawing, sketching, shading, painting, pastels and color theory.
FUN, GAMES, AND SPORTS
Let’s have fun and stay fit! Students will participate in various games and sports. Emphasis in this class is FUN! Students should wear proper athletic shoes AND bring plenty of water!
GARAGE BAND
Unleash your inner rock star and dive into the world of music creation with GarageBand! In this hands-on class, students will explore the basics of digital music production, from creating catchy beats to recording instruments and vocals. Whether composing a pop anthem, mixing a movie soundtrack, or experimenting with cool sound effects, kids will learn how to bring their musical ideas to life. No prior music experience is needed—just bring your creativity and get ready to jam!
GET YOUR GAME ON
Want to use your logical reasoning, critical thinking skills, and strategic decision-making abilities? This is the class for you! Play games that require logical techniques and skill. Are you ready to make your moves and outsmart the challenges ahead? Dive in and elevate your game to new heights!
GUITAR
We supply the guitar, music, music stands, guitar picks, and instruction…all you need is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn! Everything will be taught using familiar songs and melodies in a fun, no-pressure environment. No experience is needed! Class is geared toward beginner to intermediate level guitarists.
HOGWARTS BOOK CLUB & CREATIVE CAMP
Join us for a magical journey through Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone! Students will read and discuss the novel together while building strong comprehension skills in a supportive, engaging environment. Each week includes thoughtful discussions, reading journals, interactive games, themed crafts, and creative projects inspired by the world of Hogwarts.
ONCE UPON A TWIST: FRACTURED FAIRY TALES
In this engaging reading and writing class, students will explore classic fairy tales and their fractured versions to discover how authors creatively transform familiar stories. Students will hone their skills in this fun class where they get to read, compare, and create.
OPERATION SUMMER: MATH GAMES, PUZZLES AND MORE
Get ready for a summer full of math fun! This interactive class combines exciting games, puzzles, and activities with focused practice to sharpen essential math skills like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. From solving tricky word problems to cracking math mysteries, students will build confidence and keep their skills sharp in a lively and supportive environment. Don’t let those math muscles take a vacation—join us for a summer of learning and fun!
SPANISH + CREATIVITY = SUMMER FUN
Get ready for a sparkling summer in Spanish! At Bright Art & Cinema, elementary students will grow their Spanish listening and speaking skills through watching fun, age-appropriate Spanish-language movies while creating colorful diamond art masterpieces inspired by the films.”
YOUNG AUTHORS WORKSHOP: WRITE YOUR OWN STORYBOOK!
Calling all young storytellers! In this engaging summer writing class, students will explore essential writing skills while creating their very own original storybook. By the end of the session, each student will proudly take home a finished, illustrated storybook they wrote themselves.

No daycare is provided after summer school, unless the student is enrolled in camp.

Summer School Morning Daycare
Drop-off will begin at 8:45 AM. Your child will meet their Period 1 teacher in their designated area outside.
Any child dropped off before 8:45 am must be checked into morning daycare.
